Hawkesley, Pool Farm and Primrose Hill are three interconnected estates on the margins of
South Birmingham. Crime, poor housing stock and other environmental conditions have resulted
in a high rate of housing turnover and family mobility. This in turn has destabilised the
local community and further depressed local conditions.
