Case Studies The DfEE are committed to raising standards by providing a unique platform for the collection and sharing of ideas, information and resources that address the digital divide. This area of the CDD website will allow ICT providers with the opportunity to provide and share details of their work. We hope that this will encourage good practice and innovation in ICT provision. As the site develops we intend to host a number of focused discussion groups that will support this strategy.

Hawkesley, Pool Farm & Primrose Hill Hawkesley, Pool Farm and Primrose Hill are three interconnected estates on the margins of South Birmingham. Crime, poor housing stock and other environmental conditions have resulted in a high rate of housing turnover and family mobility. This in turn has destabilised the local community and further depressed local conditions. [more]
